The tallest building in the middle is the Sears Tower, known as Willis Tower since July 16, 2009 and as of 2009 the tallest skyscraper in the USA, and the fifth-tallest freestanding structure in the world.

The red building on the left is CNA Center, originally known as Continental Center III.

Light-colored building in front of CNA Center is the Chicago Board of Trade Building. CBOT is listed on the National Register of Historic Places

The green-glass building on the right is 340 on the Park, a residential tower.

The wide building left to the Sears Tower is Mid-Continental Plaza.

The green area in front of the buildings is the north end of the Grand Park.

McCormick Tribune Plaza & Ice Rink located in Millennium Park, part of the northern section of Grant Park, in Chicago, Illinois.

From mid-November until mid-March the venue operates as McCormick Tribune Ice Rink, and for the rest of the year, it serves as Plaza at Park Grill or Park Grill Plaza.
